Herb, I want you to consider that you are taking the word of Robin - who makes things up for a living.

It is possible that I am attending the conference right now and that I find the 58 women and 4 men absolutely delightful and they have made it on to my list of people not to obliterate in the event of an apocalypse.

I’m just saying that it is possible…

I’m bummed. I can’t come to the conference. My in-laws have planned their semi-annual party for that weekend…and since hubs and I missed the Spring shindig, I can’t miss this one.

Annette, I ordered my shirt and mug today, too! Somehow doing that makes the conference seem real.

Mother Reader, thank you so much. I’m really looking forward to having everybody in the same room instead of at all of our computers all over the country. What a blast!

Good luck to you and anyone trying to persuade the Space Lord. He claims he’s “too busy” with work. I say no one is too busy to come spend one weekend on a play date with the rest of us, but if a man’s gotta work . . .

Omigod! There are like sixty people signed up for this thing! (And I totally bet we can peer pressure Patrick the Space Lord into it.)

Robin, I don’t know if I’ve said it lately, but I’m in awe of what you’ve done in putting this out there and making it happen. Un-freakin’-believable.

I’ll be there Friday evening through Sunday evening and ready to rock n’ roll, you know, kidslit-wise.
