Thank you for the chocolate!

Oh my gosh! What a wonderful surprise! I just picked up the mail, and there in the midst of it was a big white box, and inside the box were the most beautiful chocolates–actually called “artisanal” chocolates because they are individual works of art–hand-crafted, hand-decorated, and DELICIOUS. There is absolutely nothing like high-quality chocolate–so good it feels like it melts into your bloodstream without passing through the digestive process at all. Maybe that sounds gross, but I mean it to sound exquisite.

And who sent them? My friends and blogger pals from the 1st Annual Kidlitosphere Conference! THANK YOU!! You guys did NOT have to do that. I was so happy to see the joy on your faces all weekend long as we all got to finally spend time together–that really was more payment than I ever needed. I got way more out of that conference than I gave to it. It was one of those perfect moments of my life where happiness was its own reward.

Thank you for the wonderful gift. You are so thoughtful and generous! Now I just love you all the more!

You certainly deserved a treat for all that you had given to us. The conference was an amazing experience and it was all because of you.
