I'd rather have a cat. Dogs maul and eat babies. If you don't believe me, do a search on the internet and you'll find hundreds of articles where this has actually happened. Try to find stories about cats stealing someone's breath. You wont find any.

thanks for the restraint--trust me pacifist will be very happy for the glovin', might even turn him/her/it into "warrior gato". i wholeheartedly concur with your observation regarding naming animals for animals--but i'm not so sure about produce like barry or apple, that's sorta cute.

Aaahhhgg-- too many choices of comments on the "love glove" --- must resist temptation.

What confuses me is when people name their dogs another animal, such as Moose, Bear, Wolf or Barry. Why stop there, I say, use other animals such as Marmaset. Maybe even other things with four legs such as Chair or Table.

For the record, I have both a dog and a cat. Well, something vaguely similar to a dog(Lhasa Apso). The cat is a pacifist.

True story. Frank would never be able to dial 911. He finds it complicated just licking his you know what. For him, small steps.

patrick, interesting suggestion and again, endless marketing opportunities. but why stop with dogs in heels, why not kitties in sling backs and bears in brogs.
on a serious note, why are there those among us who do not like cats--what the heck is not to like--they're cute, cuddly, give you something constructive to do while watching "what not to wear" (ie combing out the endless production of loose hair--product endorsement here--the "love glove", be prepared for total kitty ecstasy) and they share (birds, lizards and, my cat's own particular especialidad, bigggg, juicy roaches fresh from the man-hole cover). contrary to robin's opinion that cats have some nefarious motive in apparently everything they do--the above story just shows what stand up protectors of their pride cats are. i love my dog too but facts is facts, as between rocket (cat) and frank (dog) figuring out how to dial 911 in the event of a house fire, my money is on the rock.

There just isn't enough controversy here. Can we get the dogs to wear pointy shoes?
