Like chickens being strangled
I try not to laugh at people who are sincerely making an effort, but since this poor man has already been outed, I don’t see the extra harm in sharing with you.
Please do yourself a favor and listen all the way to the end. It only gets much, much worse. Mercy.
And as your special reward for having endured that, here is one of the funniest things I’ve seen.
Thanks to A Fuse #8 Production and Laila for the links.

I wasn’t going to enter the chocolate contest this month, because I feel guilty for having won in the past. Twice.
But after listening to that, I don’t feel guilty at all.

Yes, Heather, if you listened to the whole thing, you have the moral high ground.
December 8th, 2006 at 9:34 am
Ok,that was bad-good thing I watched the Evolution of Dance first! Ten to one,the guy who sings that auditions for American Idol every year and still doesn’t get why they never pick him:)
To me,however, the worst holiday song is Christmas Shoes-one of the most depressingly awful tunes I’ve ever heard in my life.

What’s Christmas Shoes? Never heard of it.

OMG! That was terrible!!! Just to show you how terrible it was, here’s a picture of my poor dog being woken up to that song (she does not look happy)!! http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d64/ChristenLynn/poorbaby.jpg

The (canine) judges have spoken.
But what did she think of the dancing?
December 8th, 2006 at 10:52 am
She actually slept through the dancing! But I *love* that video! It never gets old! Have I mentioned yet how I think youtube is the greatest invention ever?! It is such an awesome venue for people to express their creativity and make a name for themselves! (Although all I have up in my account are videos of my doggie and my drunk friends dancing… not so much creative… but still entertaining!)
Oh, and for your viewing pleasure, may I recommend http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6216nXbiPls ? This is a friend’s brother and it cracks me up everytime I watch it!

Lady T… I don’t know if I want to laugh or cry! Wow!
December 8th, 2006 at 11:49 am
Christen, I can’t get that to load. I’ll try again in a while.
Lady T, I need to speak to you about that video. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? That is the most shameless piece of drivel I have ever seen. Now, you know how completely willing I am to sob at anything–Hallmark specials, TBS back-to-back tragic love stories–but that video wanted my tears so badly I just had to laugh.
The acting drives me insane. The little boy, the mother. Speaking of which, what’s with that mother? The other people live in modern times, but she obviously just got off of the Mayflower.
I need to go take a shower now or something. Sniff some liver or something. I just feel wrong right now. Ick.

And now that song is fully stuck in my head. I hate you.
December 8th, 2006 at 1:21 pm
Hehehehe.

I first heard Christmas Shoes on the radio and was amusingly aghast at that sucker. Apparently,it is from a Hallmark movie(which I didn’t see)and there were loads of video versions on YouTube to choose from-I selected that one because it sounded like the one I originally listened(more than one singer has done this song,I kid you not).
Sorry to get that stuck in your head-I had Fergalicious playing in my brain the other day so I feel your pain:)!
Maybe this will stop it:

STOP! You’re making it worse!
December 8th, 2006 at 5:54 pm
rb, i didn’t think it was all that bad (anyone who has the misfortune of hearing me sing will know that my standards are , on a scale of one to ten, with ten being william shatner’s cover (using that word in its loosest sense) of “mr. bojangos”, i’d give it a 9.75. if anyone can find the afore mentioned william shatner recording it is most deserving of a blog share.

I’m thinking Rocketman…
December 9th, 2006 at 9:03 pm
I’m speechless.
Rocketman was so achingly, shockingly, horrifying awful it was wonderful.
And Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds–how can you not weep when you see Shatner as the Flying Nun?
Thank you, Patrick. You have saved my Saturday night.
