Apparently we were wrong

Wrong about a few things: the weather (blistering), the availability of water (none), the existence of a trail through the cacti and thorny brush (much blood was spilt), and whether hunting season was over in that area (um, no).

So after four hours of bushwacking and four hours of driving, we’re back home, showered, ready for Mexican food and Borat.

But hey, points for trying.
