Emma techs out for us

Check out how nice Emma is! She set up a feed for this blog in livejournal. (Just so you know, that’s already way over my head, but I’ll just tell you what she told me.)

If you want to use livejournal to read this on your friend list, you can now go here and add the feed.

THANK YOU, EMMA!!!!

That’s OK Robin - it makes reading your blog easier, so it was quite selfish! And it was very simple to do as your webpage designer had already set up an RSS feed for your blog. It was so easy I am even going to do more feeds for other blogs I read.

PS: If you are an LJ member and want to set a feed up just go here for more info. Thanks to Liz B for pointing this out to me!

Emma, would you mind setting up one for my mom’s blog as well? I use LJ for just about everything, but I’m not a paid member, so I can’t create feed accounts. Would you mind helping me out? I’d REALLY appreciate it!!! My mom would be pretty pleased as well… :-D

And Robin? Your feed links are in your footer. Just scroll all the way down.

If you’re reading a bunch of blogs every day, you can subscribe to them via feed and be notified which ones are updated, and get a summary of what’s been posted. It allows you to more efficiently use your time. And you can also, through tracking your own feed url in your stats, get an idea of how many people are subscribing to you.

No worries, Lizzie, it’s set up here!

I did get to see a Brolga, Annette, but didn’t get a photo - I was travelling in a minibus full of people who were already patiently tolerating my demands that they stop sleeping and keep an eye out for birds! :) I’ll be posting some other photos from the trip later today (after I get some work done!)

And yes, Tuesday for you guys is Monday night here. But I haven’t been taking part in the book club as I read a lot and find it hard to remember what I’d read from one Tuesday to the next. Perhaps this is a prompt to start a reading journal again!

Emma, you’re a doll for doing that for Lizzie. Thank you. Extra credit.

And please do come join us for the Tuesday Book Club! I love seeing everyone’s lists, since they tend to make me nervous about all the great books I’m not reading. So please join in.
