Am I missing the link?
Did you remove a post?
Am I really alive today?
Oh. There’s the link! That is absolutely astounding, and yes, I had tears in my eyes. Animals are incredible creatures.
Along a similar line, I recently came across the Battle at Kruger.

I should totally have known NOT to click on that link when I was five minutes away from having to go on reference desk. I’m going to clean up my eye makeup now…thanks for sharing!
Patrick, for a while there I thought you missed today’s theme, which is “heartwarming,” not “buffalo baby dies a long, horrible death.” I’ll warn the rest of you: the video is hard to watch at times, but it ends happily, and it is some pretty amazing wildlife footage. But for a good section of it, it’s very harsh. Not really for vegans.
Kelley, glad you found it!
Elizabeth, sorry about that. I just watched it again, and I swear I get all wet-eyed every time!
Well, I almost put in ‘it has a happy ending’, but I didn’t want to spoil it. I was rooting for an alligator to get a lion in the end as a sort of poetic justice.
