Some interesting ideas about motivation
I don’t know about you guys, but I definitely had an impression of Tony Robbins simply based on his success. And through some twisted logic, I decided if he was that popular, his talks must be . . . I don’t know, just not for me.
Which is like saying, “If a book is bestseller, I know I won’t like it.” Um, what?
So if you have any preconceived notions, put them aside and treat yourself to this talk. I especially love what Al Gore shouts out from the front row–too funny. And yet, not. And make sure you listen all the way to the end, because the stories Robbins tells first about his childhood, and then about a session he led the day after 9/11–wow. Incredible.
Anyway, enjoy your Friday video!
I actually cried after watching this. It’s so easy to forget what’s important when things like exams and deadlines are so overwhelming.
Thanks again Robin.
Glad you’re liking these, MC! Because I will be posting more of my favorites in the coming weeks. Because I cannot stop myself.
The Supreme Court is holding me back!
I know they are, Patrick. It’s truly diabolical.
I love your Friday videos. They’ve been truly inspiring. Keep ‘em coming!
