    Anne McCaffrey had a novel in her Pern series which is about dolphins as a sentient animal. Could it be true?

    I always knew that dolphins were smarter than people. I mean just watch the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
    But that is a really cool story.

    Readerdiane, I’m always willing to believe fiction. Look at all the predictions Jules Verne made that came true. I’m sure Anne McCaffrey knows more than she’s letting on.

    I LOVE animal stories like this one! It just makes my heart fill with good feelings. I want a dolphin now. I don’t think the husband would go for a mini-ocean in the backyard, though.

    I saw the video on Yahoo. It was very sweet and altogether uplifting.
