Oh, see when you said party dates, I thought you were trying to set up a matchmaking service for the event…

Not entirely sure what my work schedule will be, but with enough advance notice, I should be able to work things out — I’m trying to get a couple more people trained on my team, so I should have more backup by then. As for the personal calendar, I defer to MotherReader. She knows more about what’s on my schedule than I do — always.

I’m with Adrienne and a few others: “Darned money.” I can try to make it, but right now we’re trying to figure out if we should splurge on a trip to the ocean, as we haven’t been in yeeeeeeears and our three-year-old is fascinated with the beach and plays “beach” all the time. I wanna see her face light up when she sees it, so we’re considering a late summer beach trip (using money that we should probably put in savings or put towards a student loan instead). If we do that, I doubt I can make a Fall trip, too, as much as I want to meet everyone. We have to seriously watch our budget, what with one of us deciding to stay home with the girls and not bring in our usual two incomes.

Having said that, though, Oct. 6 is probably out — too close to my youngest’s birthday.

Actually, I suppose October 6 is remotely possible, because I could fly from Portland Maine to Chicago that day, at the end of my vacation. Yeah, that’d work.

October 6 is my vote.

I’m definitely available on October 6th. Not sure about the 29th, but I could probably make it work, especially if we make a decision soon. And I looked at FF tickets to Chicago, and they looked good right now.
