I still consider my greatest accomplishment at the Banff Festival to be winning swag twice in a row. Once under my nom de guerre, "Hugh Jass", and then under my actual name. Sometimes I miss being a teenager.

Coffee-- oh YEAH.

Swag. Definitely not. I have a phobia against advertising on my body. This also extends to designer wear that advertises who makes it in the print. Ugh. (Though I have loosened up a bit in wearing vintage that has Emilio Pucci's sig hidden rather sweetly in his wild prints, and well, my Peter Max High Tops are so wild nobody notices the little "keds style" yellow tag with his name on it on the back of the majenta colored bottoms. They're just too cool NOT to wear!)

Not a coffee drinker. Sometimes I drink fancy overpriced mocha lattes, but that is the extent of it.

Actually I was giggling the other day when I was looking at a bridal guide and they had "must register for" and "optional registry" lists because some of their must haves: coffee maker, toaster, etc, are stuff that we never use in this house, while some of their optionals: food processor, hand blender, etc. are everyday household items as far as I'm concerned. My life will be so much better when I have a food processor and don't have to grate my lasagna cheese by hand!

Free coffee would be bomb!!! I am forced to drink Starbucks whenever I want coffee because that's all that's around here, and I know you love them, but they gross me out.

As for the hat, I would probably frame it and put it on display for everyone to ooooh and aaaaah at. It would go right above the display of creepy shoes my friend brought back from Argentina (think Wicked Witch meets Converse).

What about the hat? I would proudly wear that, but I realize not everyone would. Don't want to waste swag if I'm the only one who thinks it's cool.

I love both coffee and chocolate, and although I already won chocolate from you last fall, the idea of winning a coffee blend named Sledgehammer makes me tempted to try to win again under an assumed name.
