I was out at the mall the other day and bought the cutest little slippers at Bath and Body Works. They appealed to the child in me who needed some comfort this week. And you know, I bought those slippers specifically thinking about these Friday posts.

Hmmm. I’ve been pretty much doing things for other people this week, but those things have been enjoyable (like new sites and book discussions) and those people have been cool.

One of the most random things I did this week: I introduced two people from two different generations to the Yip Yips. Thank you, YouTube!

Patrick, that news item–OMG. It just got worse and worse.

Alkelda, spring must be coming if you’re already in the planting mood! What a lovely picture you paint. I don’t garden at all, and I admire those of you who do.

Time to turn around and head back home. The dogs are SO happy to be together again! And I’m pretty happy to be with my husband again, too. Last night we stayed in a hotel room that was no bigger than the yurts he’d been sleeping in. Two people, two dogs–too much. Looking forward to the wide open spaces of a normal house. Ta ta for now.

I have not yet made the big road trip by myself. It’s not something I have any desire to do, unless I’m taking trains, busses and planes. I tip my hat to you, Robin.

I lined the garden with decorative (and practical) bricks this afternoon, and spent a few hours prepping the dirt in anticipation of March 25, which is allegedly the time it’ll be safe to put seeds directly into the ground. I’ve done so much garden work this past week, and it’s been great for my mood. I think I might have to figure out a way to have a greenhouse in the winter.

Whoa, Carli, I gotta say, you’re kind of living on the edge there. Sounds like a good strategy to keep your bus driver from booting you off at Kids’ World. And not getting mad at your sister all day is a big accomplishment–keep it up!

Jen, congratulations on the house! Yeah, moving will not be the most fun part of that, but the having-moved will no doubt be glorious. Good luck with all the packing and cleaning–I feel for you!

Katie Sis, how nice of you to be a chaperone–I’m sure you’re lots of fun for the kids. And I’m glad you consider that a nice thing for you, too–it would be easy to say yes to something like that, but not actually have a good time yourself. Have fun!

That’s way cool Robin! Other then finishing pride and prejudice… I went to hangout with friends, got my new sweep books (!), and…. I’ve been styling my hair so it looks cool, plus I called up a radio station even though I was petrifide! XD seeriously soooo sooo scared my heart was beating so fast and I even couldn’t talk the first few times…. BUT! on the third try where it actually went through I got on and talked! it was soooo cool! hehehe

Well the nice thing i did today was basically not talk on the bus ride home. I know a weird nice thing but i always talk, a lot. My bus driver has even threatened to drop me off at kids world. But today for some reason i just wasn’t in a talky mood. So i sat in the front of the bus and watched the scenery.

Also i haven’t got mad at my sister all day. That is a real acomplishment for me.
