Weird people rule.

If your next book is about past lives, etc., I'd so read it.

There was this one life, where the stable boy, who had stolen my freshly baked apple pie that I set in the window to cool, was found dead, pie in hand, after being kicked in the head by my favorite horse.

I never rode that horse again, but that life taught me not to feel guilt over the actions of others.

You know, Judy, I meant to mention this before, so I'm glad you brought it up: You don't have to wait for a private (or in my case, group) audience with Dr. Weiss. He's made three different CDs with the same kinds of regression instructions as he used with us. I bought all three and have been listening to them at home--they're terrific. They're also very, very relaxing, so they're great simply as meditation sessions.

You can buy them anywhere you order books and CDs. I especially love the one called "Spiritual Progress Through Regression"--it has the most relaxing healing meditation on it--I could listen to it every day.

I read Many Lives, Many Masters about 25 years ago, and it was a life-changing book for me, even without the regressions. I have a few ideas of where I might have lived before, and maybe someday will find Dr. Weiss like you did to get them confirmed.

Patrick, feel free to share any past lives with us here. Don't be shy.

Kelley, I'm always happy to meet people like you who are open to spiritual concepts beyond what we might learn in our childhood (or adult) churches. I think we as humans understand so very little about what's really going on with the universe, with God, with our souls, etc. I'd rather know more than stick to some dogma I learned when I was six!

Heather, ha! But let me just assure you I have loved each and every one of my previous versions. And I have great sympathy for their respective problems. It makes me want to give myself an even happier life now to make it up to them. (Although there were several who had a grand old time on their own--they inspire me!)

I don't think I would want to know who I was. I'm sure I would suffer from past life rivalry. Don't need the competition. ;)

Thanks for the book rec, Robin. And yes, I knew that about you. We have a similar background in that respect. One thing I enjoyed about your novel is the way you were able to intertwine science and faith, the idea that these so-called "new" ideas don't have to be incompatible with what we've been taught. That's just it, isn't it? "What we've been taught." There is a time when we have to embark on the journey of learning for ourselves what we truly believe.

Patrick, ha!!!

Hmm, I really should say more nice things. Incidentally, Hi Pot, it's me Kettle. I'm pretty sure I read many lives, many masters 20 years ago. In this life.

Kelley - it's just new to you in this life. ;)
