Second, I was in England a few months ago doing a Jane Austen geek thing myself! High five!

Third, I must see Snakes on a Plane. I don’t know when I’ve been so excited to see a movie.

To broach the original subject of the post,I had planned to visit England in the summer of 2002(I was meeting up with a group of Jane Austen fans to see some major JA sites)and my dad tried his best to persuade me not to go. My mom got him to back down and let me decide for myself.

I went on the trip and it was not only my first time out of the country but my first time on a plane as well. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I haven’t had another opportunity to fly since then but I say,as long as you’re careful,go right ahead and get onboard!

Also,you should play the Snakes on a Plane theme song while you’re in the airport to give courage to your fellow passengers:)

thanks a bunch bj. my insatiable curiousity got the better of me and i took a visit to the “urban dictionary”–ugh. i even went to far as to look up “prince albert”–double ugh (patrick say it ain’t so). is it true that this stuff stays on your hard drive forever?–i have a national security clearance at stake here.

You guys, I hate to do it because I like you to say what you want to say, but on second thought I had to go back and delete your links because my 11-year-old niece and her little friends read this blog from time to time, and I’m trying to do a decent job being her aunt.

She should wait until she’s as old as I am to be scarred like I just was.
