Alkelda, Spin sounds great! I'm trying not to buy any new books for a while until I actually read all the ones I have right now (a mountain of books), but I want this one now, too!

Fuse, nice to see you on the blog. If you spend some time on the Lost chatrooms (not that I do) (much), you'll see your husband is in good company on those C.S. Lewis and Fantastic Four references. Which I totally missed myself. I love that people are out there figuring out all the nuances I'm missing. Your husband is obviously one of those geniuses.

I mentioned to my husband that it was too bad that there weren't any kidlit references on LOST these days, and he turns around and points out that one of the "rescuers" has a name whose initials become "C.S." Lewis. He started coming up with a whole Prince Caspian comparison that kind of made sense. But then again he also started comparing the four "rescuers" to The Fantastic Four with similar evidence and totally lost me. Hm.

Robin, here's a link to a review of SPIN (because I'm too lazy to compose a book talk): http://www.nesfa.org/reviews/Carey/spin.htm

Alkelda, I haven't read Spin. That's interesting that there might be some parallels. I'm all for the Lost theories--bring 'em on.

Barry, I love that Hurley line, too! Hilarious, and a nice recap of previous action.

Kelley, that final scene was indeed awesome. The whole thing was. Love the writing on that show--so smart and complicated, and the writers don't coddle to us one bit. It's nice to have to keep up.

Hmmmm.... I'm thinking that those who are not the Oceanic 6 are still on the island.

By the way, has anyone here read SPIN by Robert Charles Wilson? It's hard not to think of the island being enclosed in a similar-type membrane.

Barry, I loved that line from Hurley, too! And I'm with you about the final scene. It totally knocked my socks off. And my feet were cold, too. I can't wait for next week.

Best part was Hurley being afraid of Sayid: "I saw how you snapped that guy's with that breakdancing move you have."

And that final scene... Damn.
