Yeah, I’m really not a big fan of snow (only experienced it about 4 times in my 30 years), but my girl wanted it so badly.

Oh, and I meant the sheer volume of the words I was typing, not the words I used. When one talks to a 3-year-old all day, one cannot contain oneself when one finally gets to talk to adults!

Patrick, thanks for the offer. Seriously, the book is hardly ever in my own hometown bookstores (is my mother buying up all the copies? Must look into this), so it’s really a treat when I get to see it out here in the world. Makes me believe it’s a real thing.

Barry, not only do I write books AND the blog (I know, we do tend to forget), but I also write screenplays sometimes, and after just a day up here soaking in all these films, you can bet I’ll be writing another one this year. I’d love to be here showing my own movie some day. BIG goal for me.

Hey, Kelley, sorry about your lack of snow, but take it from me, it’s cold and it’s wet, and you might as well not bother washing your hair because you’ll be wearing a fleece hat all day and night anyway. But maybe you’re more fashionable than I am (and more concerned with hygiene). And I didn’t notice anything weird about the way you were talking–in fact, I found it quite soothing.

Carli, I loved that movie, too! He was so young and fresh.

Shai, you’re right–it is like River Phoenix. More stupid waste of great talent. Hate that.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s really sad about Heath Ledger. He was about my age and it’s scary that prescription drugs can be abused. I’ll be hard for me to watch any of his movies for awhile.
I hope you have tons of fun at the festival! Someone I know is supposed to be out there. I like the sound of those cookies!
