woot! hehe no prob. every one must know ASAP! I think he’ll be amazing! *girlysigh/freaksout/hyperventalates* XP

  2. Heather Harper Says:

    He is lovely.

And he’s only six years younger than me, so I won’t feel guilty for swooning. ;)

  3. Dylan Says:

    lol how old is he?

  4. Heather Harper Says:

Or not…I read the wrong article.

    Dang. That hurts.

  5. Heather Harper Says:

    Stupid internet.

  6. Dylan Says:

    XD aw that stinks!

  7. Patrick Says:

  8. Lizzie Says:

Aw man, I got all excited. I thought you were talking about a different Swoon: http://www.flickr.com/groups/swoon/pool/

  9. Jen Robinson Says:

Interesting… I think that works for me.

  10. Kelley Says:

Totally excited about this news, so thanks, Dylan! I loved Twilight, and I’m trying to get Katie Sis to finish the book. C’mon, Katie, you’ve already read DH. I was the one at my friend’s most recent Harry Potter party (celebrating the DH release) to sport a T-shirt reading “Support Cedric Diggory” and featuring Robert’s beautiful self. He will be quite gorgeous enough for Edward, and I think he’ll have the acting ability as well.

  11. robin Says:

Maybe I need to clarify in this whole age discussion: the part of me who swoons at cute teenage (or twenty-one-year-old) boys is the 15-year-old in me who swooned at Twilight to begin with. My teenage self and I are very close friends, and I am not embarrassed to think and act like her as much as I do.

I mean, come on–it’s not like I think I’m going to marry him. Because obviously I’m going to marry someone my own age, like Colin Firth.

  12. Shai Says:

    oh I am drooling!

  13. Melissa Says:

“I mean, come on–it’s not like I think I’m going to marry him. Because obviously I’m going to marry someone my own age, like Colin Firth.”

Heh. I’m so with you there.

I think Robert will actually make a good Edward. That’s assuming, though, that the script is even worthwhile. Here’s crossing my fingers.

  14. Patrick Says:

I think I have to read the books. Sounds like he might be as hot as me. I mean, it’s fiction, so it’s possible that he could be as hot as I am.

  15. Kelley Says:

Edward’s definitely hotter than hot. He’s one of those incredibly perfect-looking demi-god men that no one can even touch. Except Bella gets to.

And Robin, no explanation needed! I think most of us, with the exception of Dylan and a handful of others, are also a bit beyond Robert’s league, so to speak. But we can always look and enjoy what we see!

  16. Dylan Says:

Read the books Patrick! And he is still a bit beyond my league but I don’t care! lol just add him to the list of boys I swoon over yet can’t have… >_

  17. Dylan Says:

    No Problem Kelly! :)

  18. Heather Harper Says:

Okay, Robin. You get Colin, I get Gerard Butler, and the rest of the ladies can have Patrick. ;)

  19. Dylan Says:

No offence Patrick but I want James Mcavoy! *swoons*

  20. Vivian Says:

I hope they don’t butcher the movie. Twilight was unbelievable, and it will be so sad if the movie doesn’t do it justice.

And I know I’m in the minority here, but Robert doesn’t do anything for me. He’s too much of a pretty boy.

Or maybe I’ve been watching too many reruns of A Beautiful Mind and Gladiator and I’ve got Russell Crowe on my mind.

  21. Patrick Says:

Dylan, it’s perfectly acceptable to want a lesser product.

  22. Shai Says:

Oh Heather..Gerard Butler! He is dreamy! Can we share him?

  23. Alkelda the Gleeful Says:

I’ve got to admit, I used to be into the smooth, clean-shaven pretty boys until I met my husband. It’s funny, but meeting him really changed my perceptions of attractiveness. Then again, my husband said to a friend, “I never knew I had a rival until I came home a few days before my wedding to see Alkelda and her mommy bouncing up and down on the bed and saying, ‘Mr Darcy! Mr Darcy!’ while watching the A & E Pride and Prejudice.”

  24. Alkelda the Gleeful Says:

Why is everything in italics? I’m going to post the code for ending italics right now.

  25. Alkelda the Gleeful Says:

    Did it work?

  26. Alkelda the Gleeful Says:

    …Yes!!!

  27. Heather Harper Says:

Looking at Gerard makes me all kinds of dizzy. And to answer your question, Shai, that would be a NO.

    I called him first. ;)

  28. Dylan Says:

Gerard is kinda cute…. XD and ok patrick lol

  29. Shai Says:

ok Heather, I will let you have him, you called it fair and sqauare! But I will swoon from afar

  30. robin Says:

Alkelda, good work on fixing that! I didn’t even have to lift a finger!

Now I’ll let you ladies get back to fighting over Gerard Butler . . .
