In a recent episode, Sayid made a bet with a man on a golf course and when the man asked him what he did, he explained that he had money because he was one of the Oceanic 6. I thought that meant that they received money from the airline?

We record Lost on the DVR and I haven’t watched it yet! Argh!! Now I’m really looking forward to it.

I don’t recall any talk of a settlement. I recall Jack mentioning the “golden tickets” they all got (free flights for life, I presume). When did they mention settlements? Was it in the Hugo episode?

But you-know-who’s age makes it pretty clear that the flashforwards start about 1.5-2 years after the “present” shown on the island, meaning 2006 or thereabouts. So maybe drunk Jack is the most recent and in our present?

If you’re at all interested, you can check my blog for in-depth thought of last night’s episode (and those prior), but I was surprised like Robin by the reveal. As Kate went upstairs at her posh home to see her son, I said aloud, “It could be _____.” And it was!

Barry, do you think the Oceanic 6 got some sort of settlement from the company? Of course, would that apply to a fugitive about to go under trial? Hmmm.

OK, I’m sorry, but I thought it was VERY obvious and VERY telegraphed…but they still managed to make it work for me. I wasn’t surprised, but I DID get a sense of, “Damn, yeah, that works.”

My question is this: How in the WORLD did Kate afford that house?
