How to write a novel in three weeks (or two, or one)

Here’s a great blog post from my favorite writing teacher, Dean Wesley Smith.

Agree with him or not, this should tweak some of your assumptions about how long it takes to write a novel.

And by the way, if you’re ready to start taking your writing career seriously and not only be published but make a good living at it, consider attending one of the workshops listed on Dean’s site. It’s the best time and money I’ve ever invested in my writing career, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

the only reason i can’t write a book in that short of a time is because i sometimes get stuck and i end up going to another book, and then theres the fact that i have school so im busy with class and homework, but i do try to write whenever i can
