Not with stinky boys. Or with people of either gender who also go in for the social kiss.
I like to hug people I like. And while I do like Patrick, I may or may not feel like hugging him, and so he should by no means go in for the hug and force me to clench up and hate him.
See? Easy.
It all stems from my former life as a lawyer. I could never understand why the same male lawyers who would shake my hand when they met me during the day felt that it was okay to hug and kiss me if they met me at night. Yuck.
Diana, I would obviously give you a hug. And multiple other people who comment on this blog.
I know this is complicated. I’ll just shut up now.

It should be noted that in our two previous encounters, I made no attempt to hug.
Is there an implication that I am a stinky boy? Or that other people on the blog are more huggable than I am? Even though I do not force hugs, I am quite good at hugging.

oooooh, this is going to be so much fun. a full-on hug-off.
pay no attention to rb, she’s just being shy. i know from personal experience, it’s not that she doesn’t like hugs (or kisses) she just doesn’t like wimpy, half-a**ed ones. so make sure, tight to the body (the whole body). an extra press-in on the bosom will get you all kinds of kudos. top it off with a big wet one and you’ve got a friend for life!

as for you hard-huggin’ papa, i say bring it on. (my husband is actually not allowed to release the hug until my back has popped).
