The best writing workshops I ever attended–now you can go, too.
I noticed over on Patrick’s blog that he mentioned the workshops by our favorite teachers are back, and are being publicly-announced (until now I, like Patrick, thought they were a secret). So let me add my gushing to Patrick’s: these are hands down the BEST writing workshops I have EVER attended in my life. I’ve been to three of Dean and Kris’s workshops, and each time I came back a changed–and better–writer, both in terms of craft and publishing business knowledge. This is the best use of time and money I’ve ever experienced as a writer, which is why I’ll be going back for another dose next year. I’ve already sent in my registration.
If you want to be a professional writer, if you want to make a living at this, if you are ready to go for it and take yourself seriously–then consider giving yourself this gift. The workshops are intense and life- and career-changing. There’s just nothing else like them out there.
Seriously.

And as Patrick says in his blog, if you want to meet them and sample their style of presentation, they will be attending ‘From Pen to Print V’ sponsored by the Space Coast Writers’ Guild in sunny Florida on Jan. 25-26 2008. They’ll be doing four different presentations, I believe. Check them out here: http://scwg.org/conference.asp
Sorry I don’t know how to link it in the comment section.

I’d be interested to hear the names of workshops or presenters that other people have gotten a lot out of.
