Why I love HipWriterMama
Let me just tell you right now that a great interview depends on the great interviewER. Not the EE. I can blah, blah, blah all day, but it takes some great questions to get me to focus my babble.
And Hip Writer Mama asked some great questions! You can check our our interview here.
Thank you, Vivian! (Hope I’m not blowing your cover by calling you that.) And I meant what I said: I really do love chatting it up with all of you on the blog, and I do miss it, but must . . . be . . . strong.
But I can’t tell you how good it felt to shake off the dust and come out of the cave and have a conversation after all this time. Thanks, Hip Writer Mama, for giving me the opportunity.
Enjoy your day, y’all!
(Break’s over. Back to work!)

Great interview, Robin. I haven’t written in awhile because you said you needed a break from blogging to get some work done some months ago, so I’ve stayed off the bog too! (Not that I got any work done…” Thought I would log in today since it is Tuesday and I actually read a book this week. I didn’t plan on reading the book, but I was in the library and saw the DVD of the book had just arrived, so I took the DVD, but since I have this thing about not seeing a movie until I’ve read the book, I then had to get the book. Now I’ve read the book (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) and hope to watch the movie this week.

Tell me what it’s like being on the road six weeks in a row and having no mind left to write.

So, Patrick, are you saying I should lay off my nagging of you to write your books? Just because you’re constantly traveling? Bah. I know you’re far hardier than I am in that department. Write your books! (Nice try, though.)
Hey, Deborah! Sorry I can’t host the Tuesday Book Club today, but that day will come again. So hang onto your reporting.
Jules, holly to you, too.

What an insightful interview! I loved reading the little clues about your next books. I’m completely intrigued. It’s also fun to read again about your writing strategies. It sounds like you take research very seriously. Boy I could use some advice on that aspect, as I have no idea where to begin. Keep writing away! Your commitment is obvious, and I know we’ll all be excited with the results.
